Job Summary
We are seeking a Social Media & Marketing (Intern) to join our team! As a Social Media & Marketing (Intern), you will administer the organizations social media marketing and advertising, creating content across many different social media platforms, working on existing promotional campaigns, and maintaining a strong online presence. You will also be maintaining the comments section of all posts, ensuring every message published on social media is in tune with our company message, and keeping up to date with the latest social media trends. The ideal candidate is comfortable creating content for a social media platform, has strong organizational skills, and the ability to run a successful social media campaign.

Responsibilities

• Create content for social media across multiple platforms in a variety of formats
• Monitor social media interactions across all platforms
• Monitor social media trends with an eye for implementing them within the current marketing campaign
• Development of brand awareness and online reputation
• Deliberate planning and goal-setting
• SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
• Manage and maintain a living social media calendar
• Work closely with other teams as needed to ensure brand consistency
• Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality
  content.
• Create reports that show the progress and outcomes of social media campaigns

Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with all major social media platforms, including understanding social media trends
• Familiarity with computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite, photo editing software, and video editing software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
• Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media.
• Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
