Job Description

Northwest Community Family Medicine Residency is seeking a dedicated and qualified full-time physician to join our team as Family Medicine Physician Faculty. Based in Philadelphia, this role offers the opportunity to practice in our primary office located in the vibrant neighborhood of Manayunk, with additional clinical practice at a satellite office in Wyncote, PA. Our program prides itself on a long-standing commitment to community medicine and sports medicine education. As part of our team, you will contribute to advancing medical training and patient care in a supportive and innovative environment. Responsibilities: Conduct 8 clinical sessions per week with a focus on joint injections, point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), and splinting. Provide both sports medicine and traditional family medicine care to a diverse patient population. Supervise inpatient rounding 7-8 weeks annually. Precept medical students and residents in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Engage in supervising and mentoring medical students and residents. Participate in clinic-based and academic research opportunities. Qualifications: Board Certified in Family Medicine with a sports medicine fellowship preferred. At least 1+ years of experience in family medicine with a strong interest in sports. Strong communication and patient care skills.
