Who you are: Youre an experienced log truck driver and you know the ins and outs of operating large vehicles, especially on rough, gravel logging roads. Youre comfortable driving a Class A Commercial Vehicle in all types of weather conditions. Youre detail-oriented, reliable, and understand the importance of maintaining accurate logs and adhering to safety regulations. You take pride in your work and are committed to maintaining your equipment in top shape. You enjoy working independently but also communicate effectively with others to ensure smooth operations. What the job is: As a Log Truck Driver, youll be an essential part of our team, responsible for transporting logs to various mills. Your day-to-day tasks will include driving and performing some routine inspections and preventative maintenance on your vehicle. Youll also be responsible for adhering to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards. This is a physically demanding job that requires the ability to climb, stoop, crouch, and walk, and it requires a strong commitment to punctuality and reliability. Work schedule: Flexibility is essential in this role, as start times and work hours will fluctuate based on business needs, with overtime opportunities available depending on workload and operational demands. Compensation Details: Hourly Rate: $28.92. Potential per hour shift differential of $.75 per hour (Swing) and $.85 (Graveyard). Other rewards include eligibility to receive a company-wide annual financial performance bonus, candidate referral bonus and spot bonus.
