Job Description: Job Title: Fraud Investigator-II, Job Duration: Remote Est. Pay Range: $46- $48 (USD)
Work Type: Remote, Duties:
- Establish and refine company strategic approach to fraud - work on the operations, engineering, and analytics needed to protect client audiences from bad actors
- Identify new fraud vectors across client platform - complete end-to-end analysis that allows us to better identify the bad actors on our platform and improve the experience of good users.
- Influence and engage across the company - partner with the product, engineering, and analytics teams to establish goals and build strategic programs.
- Improve through experimentation - use data-driven decision-making to run tests to reduce fraud while accelerating growth.
- You have 3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, investment banking, analytics, or related experience
- You are a project manager and excel when working in a team environment. You have a natural ability to drive alignment with cross functional partners, hit goals, and de-risk projects when there are dependencies
- You are a strong communicator, both written and verbal and can synthesize insights to develop strategies
- Proactively Communicate with Fraud Ops and S&O stakeholders on fraud metrics and recommended actions, new discoveries, and overall health of one of the platform's biggest bets based on Market and Runner Cohort
- Spearhead weekly meetings with our newly launched Anomaly detection pod and S&O partners to discuss and align on next steps based on insights
- Manage feedback loop from anomaly detection pod and unblock issues that prevents team from performing tasks adequately Process Strategy
- Develop clear guidelines, policy, and standards for our new anomaly detection pod to ensure consistent clarity on review and action process as well as expectations for team
- Responsible for proactively and continuously improving and updating existing fraud rules, detection mechanisms and signals based on insights, new discoveries and feedback from Anomaly detection insights and S&O team.
- Analytical/Problem Solving Strategy
- Proactively identify fraud related pain points, issues through data monitoring and analysis and propose short term and long-term solutions to address Investigate medium to large data sets using Google sheet, Excel or SQL to identify trends/patterns that can be leveraged to develop meaningful insights
Requirements - Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets or SQL [mandatory]
- Basic Need: Understand excel formulas, data entry
- Preferred: Comfortable w/ Pivot Tables, cleaning data •Ability to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment [making quick decisions, escalating issues]
- Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
- Should be detail oriented!
- Preferred Previous Work History: Banking, data analytics, financial background
