Ashton Manor Environmental is seeking a seasoned Commercial Landscape Project Manager to lead commercial landscaping projects ranging from $500k to $4M+. The ideal candidate will oversee every aspect of these projects, ensuring quality, safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance while working closely with other Project Managers and the back-office team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Project Oversight: Manage multiple commercial and/or environmental projects, ensuring all contractual aspects are handled efficiently.
  • Contract Management: Handle specifications, qualifications, submittals, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and final punch out/close out.
  • Financial Tracking: Review, track, and report job financials to senior leadership; calculate and track the cost estimate of all project activities.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Plan and schedule the entire construction project, including construction operations and timelines to meet project deadlines.
  • Site Visits: Conduct weekly job site visits to ensure project progress, completion on time, and under budget.
  • Cost Savings: Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Material Negotiation: Oversee all material negotiations and project buyout.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor contracts, schedules, and invoicing.
  • Liaison Role: Serve as the on-site liaison for AME Field PM, customer, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholders for project metrics, schedules, and general communications and updates.
  • Team Development : Coach, mentor, and train direct reports to help them establish and achieve personal and professional development goals.
  • Safety and Quality Control: Ensure the Company's safety and quality control programs are enforced on all projects.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, landscape management, or a related field, highly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, project coordination, or related fields.
  • Project Success: Demonstrated project management success for projects ranging from $500k - $4M.
  • Industry Knowledge: General knowledge of the landscaping industry preferred.
  • Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Plan Swift, Foundation, Microsoft Project, and related software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide immediate and long-term solutions.
  • Work Ethic: Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Leadership: Team player with strong leadership skills.
  • Decision-Making : Ability to make calculated and cost-effective decisions.
  • Needs to have experience in exterior construction, landscaping and or hardscape.
Physical Job Demands and Work Conditions:
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, drive, kneel, stoop, reach, bend, climb, while working safely outside in all seasons.
  • Ability to touch and grasp, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Special vision abilities including close vision, depth and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Noise level in the work environment, particularly when in the field, can vary significantly and at times be very loud.
