About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer with a strong background in nonprofit financial management to join their mission-driven organization. The CFO will be responsible for developing and leading financial strategies that align with the organization's ambitious mission of advancing medical research and clinical trials. This pivotal role involves managing comprehensive fiscal operations, driving the financial planning process, and providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board. The successful candidate will also oversee financial compliance, risk management frameworks, and lead a cross-functional team to ensure financial stability and accountability. Candidates for the Chief Financial Officer position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A CPA designation or equivalent financial management experience is required. A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in financial management, particularly within a nonprofit or healthcare-related organization, is essential. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership in financial operations, expertise in GAAP, and regulatory compliance. A passion for using financial strategies to achieve transformative health outcomes is a key attribute the company is looking for in potential CFOs.
